Sleepy Girl

This idea came to me a few weeks ago. I drew it, inked it and then loved the style I started making more. I know have 5 drawings of kids like this in settings, but this is the first one to colored in finally. I took out some elements like planets and a moon b/c I liked how without them the scene felt more empty and serene. I would like to add some more pattern to the new ones, but I am very happy with this one. Just looking at it makes me want to go to bed and dream.

Today is probably the 6th first day of my life.

This is my first post and it will be a little introduction into who I am and hopefully what this whole shabang is about. I am not really sure what to do here b/c I have never really been a blogging type of person. Don't get me wrong, I do love some good gossip but never got into keeping up with the writing it part. I am growing up though. I have been watching tv shows that revolve around script writing and blogging and I love the personal conncetion I get to the characters and artists who make those shows. Therefore... I have decided that I would like to reach out to people and share what this life is like and how it effects my art. It is the online documentation of the birth of another artist's work. All through my trusty computer! I am always on the freaking thing (my sweet sweet darling) all the time anyway. I choose uptothebottom after thinking and word associating for about 40 min. I feel related to it b/c no matter how much I work or try I will always be at the bottom of the next thing. A never ending ladder if you will. There is always more to climb and it keeps getting more beautiful the higher you go. I find it quite humbling.
So there you have it. You will learn more about me throughout the coming weeks and months. I don't want to write too much in any post so there is more momentum for me to keep up.
